There is no public download link yet. The link is sent by email on request. Email [email protected], say Windows or Mac, and the link comes by reply.

Not sure which Mac you have? Apple menu → About This Mac. It says Chip (Apple Silicon) or Processor (Intel).

When you open it, you'll see a warning

Windows warns about apps that are new and not yet widely downloaded, and Muraqib is not code-signed yet, so Windows and Mac both show their standard warning. It doesn't mean either of them found a problem with it. The warning can appear again for a new version. The publisher is Rashid Alnaqbi General Trading, Abu Dhabi.

On Windows

  1. Open the installer you downloaded.
  2. A blue window says "Windows protected your PC". Click More info, then Run anyway.
  3. Install as usual and choose "Only for me".
  4. On Windows 11 with Smart App Control turned on, the app is blocked. The only way to run it is to turn that setting off, in Windows Security.

On Mac

  1. Open the downloaded file and drag Muraqib into Applications.
  2. Try to open Muraqib. macOS says it can't be opened.
  3. Open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll to Security and click Open Anyway. The button is there for about an hour after the attempt.
  4. Enter your login password. On macOS 13 or 14, right-click → Open may still work instead.

After installing

  1. Set a PIN

6 to 12 digits. It can't be recovered, so write it down.

  2. Try the demo class

One click loads four fictional classes so you can see every screen working. Remove them later from Settings.

  3. Or start with your class

Create a class, then add or import your students.
