Muraqib is built by a small independent business in Abu Dhabi, for the administrative work that fills a UAE teacher's week.
Why it exists
A teacher records the same facts many times. A mark goes in a book, then a spreadsheet, then a report. An absence is noted in one place and explained in another. A comment written in December is retyped in March because nobody can find the December one.
Muraqib exists to make the record a teacher already made do the work a second time. Take the register once and it feeds the report. Write an observation once and it is waiting when you write that pupil's comment. The aim is to remove a step, never to add one.
It is built around the paperwork of a UAE school - the grading bands, the weighting, the absence ladder, Arabic and English side by side, right to left done properly - because a tool that ignores those makes more work, not less.
Who builds it
Muraqib is developed and published by Rashid Alnaqbi General Trading, a business registered in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, under trade licence CN-6753934. The business is the legal owner and publisher of the application.
It is independent. There is no investor, no parent company and no school or authority behind it. The company has its own website, and the same name appears on this site, in the application's terms and on the agreement the installer shows.
It is not a government service
Muraqib is not affiliated with, approved by, or endorsed by the UAE Ministry of Education, ADEK, KHDA, or any other government authority. It follows ministry rules where a teacher needs it to, which is not the same thing as being approved by anyone.
How it is paid for
Muraqib is free to install and free to use for the everyday work: classes, marks, attendance, observations, support plans and reports. A paid licence adds the document and drafting tools. There is no advertising, and nothing about your class is sold, shared or used to train anything.
That is the whole business model: teachers who find the paid tools worth it buy a licence.
